πŸ“΅ Finally β€” something they love more than the iPad
πŸ› οΈ Real tools. Real builds. Hours of screen-free play.

"Our kids raided the recycling and built a spaceship in an afternoon. The kid-safe cutter and twist-in screws made it easy β€” and cleanup was just folding boxes." β€” Katherine, WA

You know that look β€” the glazed-over screen stare. BoxLab is what you put in their hands instead. Real tools. Real building. A cardboard box from the recycling bin turns into a rocket, a dino, a castle, a wearable costume β€” whatever they dream up. No app required. No batteries. No parent hovering. Just a kid who forgets the TV exists for the next three hours.

"They forgot the iPad existed"

Three hours. One cardboard box. Zero screen time.

That's what parents tell us, over and over. A kid who picks up BoxLab doesn't just craft for twenty minutes β€” they plan, they build, they tear it down and build something bigger. A rocket becomes a spaceship becomes a whole launch pad. The focused, absorbed look on their face is the same one you see on a screen β€” except this time, they made something real. Something they're proud of. Something they'll want to show you.

Yes, your kid can use the cutter β€” that's the whole point

Designed to cut cardboard cleanly, not fingers

There's something powerful about a child doing something that feels genuinely grown-up. The BoxLab cutter has a rounded tip engineered to score through corrugated cardboard while being significantly gentler on skin β€” and we include a pair of cut-resistant gloves in every kit. Let them cut the windows on their fort themselves. Watch their face. That's not just play β€” that's confidence being built in real time. (Best alongside an adult for kids under 7.)

They'll ask for your help less than you expect

Twist in, twist out β€” kids figure it out in about 60 seconds

No instruction manual. No loose nuts rolling under the couch. No frustrated kid giving up because something fell apart. The cardboard screws twist directly into corrugated board for a solid, stable connection β€” and when the build is done, they twist straight back out. Fully reusable. Pick a new project, use the same screws. BoxLab isn't a one-afternoon kit; it's the tool set that lives in your craft corner for years.

One kit, a hundred builds, and the material is free

Your recycling bin is now a toy shop

Every delivery box, cereal box, or flat-pack in your home is raw material for the next creation. BoxLab tools and connectors are fully reusable β€” there's nothing to replace and nothing to run out of. The kit that arrives at your door keeps paying off build after build, and the material cost is zero. It's genuinely one of the best-value craft kits around β€” and it turns your recycling into something kids will treasure.

Questions parents ask before buying

Is the cardboard included?

No β€” and that's intentional. BoxLab is the tool kit; your recycling bin is the toy shop. Delivery boxes, cereal boxes, hardware store offcuts β€” all perfect. It teaches kids to see value in everyday materials, and the "material" never runs out.

What age is it for?

Recommended for ages 4 and up. Kids aged 4–6 build best alongside an adult. From around 7, most children go fully independent. The screws and connectors are intuitive β€” most kids figure them out within a few minutes.

Do the screws run out? Will I need refills?

No refills needed. The 120 screws and 20 connectors are fully reusable β€” twist them out when a build is done, use them again on the next one. One kit genuinely lasts years.

Is the cutter actually safe for kids?

The rounded tip is specifically designed to slice corrugated cardboard while being gentler on skin than a standard craft knife. Every kit includes a pair of cut-resistant gloves. For children under 7, we recommend cutting alongside an adult.
