What's in the box?
A soft felt Christmas tree (about 100 × 70 cm / 40 × 28 in) with a hanging loop, 32 felt ornaments (Santa, a snowman, gingerbread men, a snowy house, stockings, candy canes, bells, presents, snowflakes, bows, a star and a "Merry Christmas" banner) plus a FREE 5 m string of warm fairy lights. Everything you need is in the box.
How does it hang up?
There's a loop at the top. Hang it on a nail, a door hook or an adhesive wall hook at your child's height. It's up in about a minute, no tools needed.
Will it keep my toddler away from our real tree?
That's the main reason parents buy it. Little ones want to touch and decorate too. With a tree of their own they can do it as many times as they like, so the baubles on the big tree stay where they are.
What age is it for?
Toddlers and preschoolers love it most, roughly 18 months to 6 years, and older siblings happily join in. Felt ornaments are soft and light, but as with any toy, little ones should play with a grown-up nearby.
How do the lights work?
The FREE 5 m fairy light drapes over the tree and runs on 3 AAA batteries in a small battery box (batteries aren't included, so pop a pack in with the gift). The thin wire stays cool, and the switch is on the box, so a grown-up can turn the glow on for story time and off at bedtime.
Do the ornaments stay on?
Yes. Each ornament has a hook-and-loop backing that grips the felt tree firmly, and peels off easily when they want to move it. No pins, no glue.
The tree arrived folded. Is that normal?
Yes, it travels folded. Hang it up for a day and the creases relax, or give it a quick press with a warm iron through a cloth.
Can we use it again next year?
