What changes on the very first drive
- Their head stays level. Two padded wings catch it before the chin drops — no slump, no jolt awake, no ten-minute nap.
- They settle faster. Something soft to lean into beats a hard plastic headrest, so they drop off sooner and stay down.
- Their arms stop dangling. Two lower openings hold the arms, which is what wakes most children on corners and roundabouts.
- You get the drive back. No reaching behind to prop a head up at every set of lights.

How big is it, really?
22 inches tall by 16½ inches wide (56 × 42 cm) — about the size of a bed pillow, and it fills a child's car seat from headrest to lap. The third photo shows it held against an adult so you can judge it at a glance.
Will it fit your child?
Fit follows height and shoulder width, not age. Parents of two, four, five and six-year-olds all report a good fit, and seven-year-olds use it happily too. Above about seven, shoulders start to outgrow the 16½″ width.
Under two we'd wait — little ones are better off in the padding their seat already has.
Washing takes no thought
Put the whole thing in the machine on a cold gentle cycle and air dry it. That's it. There's also a zip along the back if you ever want to take the filling out and wash the cover on its own — handy, but not something you need to do.
One honest tip: run it through the wash before the first trip. Like most plush, it arrives with a faint factory smell that disappears completely after one cycle.
Fitting it — three steps
- Buckle your child in as normal, exactly as your car seat manufacturer instructs.
- Lay Kudlee over the front and slide their arms through the two lower openings.
- Bring the wings up either side of the head and clip the strap behind the headrest.
Pull the strap properly snug. Left loose it can creep down over a long drive — thirty seconds of adjustment on day one and it stays put after that.
Nothing clips to the harness. Nothing wedges under the seat. Nothing threads through the straps.

Questions parents ask
What age is it actually for?
Two to seven, give or take. Height matters more than birthdays — a tall four-year-old and a small seven-year-old both fit fine. Under two, stick with the padding built into your seat.
How big is it?
22 inches tall by 16½ inches wide (56 × 42 cm) — roughly a bed-pillow footprint. Have a look at the third photo, where it's held against an adult, so there are no surprises when it arrives.
Can I wash it?
Yes — the whole thing goes in the machine on cold gentle, then air dry. There's a zip if you'd rather remove the filling and wash just the cover, but you don't have to. Give it a wash before the first trip to clear the factory smell.
Will it fit our car seat?
It fits most forward-facing seats and boosters with a headrest the strap can pass behind. A few seats with very deep integrated side wings won't leave room — if yours is one of them, message us and we'll sort it out.
Does the strap slip?
Not if you pull it properly snug on the first fit. Left loose it can work its way down over a long drive. Thirty seconds of adjustment once and it stays where you put it.
Will it stop their head moving completely?
No — and it shouldn't. It catches the big forward and sideways drop that wakes them. Small movements still happen, which is normal.
Does it get hot?
It's plush, so it's warm by nature. Most parents run the rear vents on hot days. If the car has been sitting in the sun, let the seat cool for a minute first.
Is it a safety device?
No — it's a comfort accessory and we'd rather say so plainly. It doesn't replace or improve your child restraint and it isn't crash-tested protection. Fit it so it never interferes with the harness, the belt path, the seat shell, or your child's breathing and head position, and keep them supervised.
